Northeastern Queens: Hillcrest
Hillcrest is home to a large Orthodox Jewish Community. Union Turnpike is Hillcrest’s main commercial strip.
Pictured is the Hillcrest Jewish Center, which runs the Hillcrest Jewish Day Camp. The prestigious camp opened in 1958 and is viewed as a pillar of this community.
For special campers with permission & additional cost, the camp offers horse back riding.
